The Bellmont Braves were defeated Friday in their final regular season contest, losing at Jay County 72-46.
No statistics were provided for the contest.
The matchup with the ACAC school finished up the Braves’ full slate of games against the seven schools from the overlapping conference, with the Braves finishing 1-5 against the ACAC (while playing Southern Wells in the scrimmage to start the year).
Bellmont will play Marion in the sectional opener Tuesday on their home court at 7:30 p.m. That contest, along with every game from both the Bellmont and South Adams boys’ basketball sectionals can be heard on WZBD, 92.7 FM and the station’s YouTube channel.
