South Adams dominated both sides of the co-ed meet Thursday against Celina from Ohio in the Starfire waters.
GIRLS’ MEET
Notes & Times:
-The Stars took the opening relay by swimming a season best medley time of 2:16.16 with Hannah Scott, Reagan Bollenbacher, KayLynn Grush and Addy Watson.
-Julia Arnold swam a season best and won the 200 with ease. Later in the meet she swam a season best and won the 500.
-Ava Kinsey showed how versatile she was by not only reading the dives to start the night, but by also winning the 50 with the fastest time of any county swimmer this season (26.74). Kinsey also holds the county marks in the 100 and the 200 Free so far this season.
-Stella McIntire also swam her best time, cutting .7 seconds from her season best with her fourth-place finish. McIntire later set a season best in the Fly, as well.
-KayLynn Grush edged out Haley Kizer for the win in the diving with a career-best performance of 150.40 points.
-Kinsey, Arnold, McIntire and GenaMarie Summersett teamed up to set a new team season mark in the 200 Free Relay for the win.
-Calah Hill and Hannah Scott finished 1-2 in the backstroke with their own season bests.
-Freshman Delaney Schwartz moved into the county lead in the breaststroke this season with a winning time in that event of 1:21.83.
