Midway through the second quarter, the South Adams Starfires were hanging with the #1 team in the state in Friday’s semi-state game.
North Judson then punched the ball into the end zone to break open the scoring and a few turnovers later, it all unraveled for the visiting Starfires, leading to a 24-0 scoreline in a matter of 151 seconds.
The Bluejays held South Adams to negative rushing yards on the night and created three interceptions, while also scoring their third touchdown of the night on a scoop and score in the second quarter to cap off that devastating run to the Stars.
Kole Wilcox gained 247 yards on 22 carries and scored three times in addition to his defensive touchdown.
North Judson did not complete a pass in the game.
