The Decatur Police Department released a statement about an arrest made in Allen County dealing with the death of a Decatur man last year.
The statement read as follows:
On the morning of November 5, 2024, detectives with the Decatur Police Department were assisted by members of the Allen County Sheriff’s Office in taking one female subject, identified as Bailey Dailey (age 36), into custody at a residence located in the 2400 block of Bellflower Ln, Fort Wayne, IN. This arrest was pursuant
to an arrest warrant being issued for Dailey through the Adams County Circuit Court for one count of Dealing in a Controlled Substance Resulting in Death, a Level 1 Felony.This arrest is connected to an investigation into the death of Nicholas Comment, who passed away on or about October 15, 2023, at a residence located in Adams County. Dailey is currently being held at the Adams County Detention Center without bond.
This arrest is merely an accusation based on information gathered during this investigation, and all persons arrested are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
