Girls across Indiana practiced for the first time knowing that the year will end with IHSAA medals for the top 112 wrestlers after the association finally agreed to full sanctioning for the 2024-25 season.
Organizing their own tournaments and an independent state championship for years, girls coaches and supporters can now rest on their accomplishments as the IHSAA will take over this season.
Assistant commissioner Robert Faulkens spoke to the Z Team Sunday night on the eve of the first practice about what the season will look like and what details are confirmed.
