South Adams excelled in all facets of the game Friday night against Southern Wells, making big plays on special teams, scoring a defensive touchdown and finished with seven different touchdown scorers on offense in their 58-0 blowout of the winless Raiders.

Will Patterson took the opening kickoff back 67 yards before being knocked out of bounds by the kicker and the Starfires scored just 20 seconds into the contest on a run by Wes Summersett from six yards out.
The Starfires finished the night with 410 yards of offense and did not commit a turnover.

Tytus Lehman was 6 of 8 for 108 yards and a pair of touchdowns – first to Caiden Neuenschwander and then to Derek McKean in the second quarter.
McKean took over QB duties during the second quarter and threw a touchdown himself, connecting with Jax Wanner to put the Stars up 44-0.

McKean had three catches for 66 yards and a score to lead the Stars.

The Starfires handed out carries to their running backs like candy on Halloween, with no back picking up more than five touches. Four different players scored, with Patterson picking up the most yards (48) for the visitors.
Southern Wells had 101 yards in the air, with QB Trey Slusher finishing 7 of 15. He was picked off by Easton O’Dell, who also had three tackles on the night.
