South Adams and Woodlan traded scores to a 14-13 halftime score and the two teams went into the fourth quarter tied 21-21, but it was the Warriors who scored the final two touchdowns to take a 35-28 road victory in Week 8.
The Warriors moved to 3-2 and remained in fourth place in the ACAC, while South Adams dropped to 1-4 in the conference and 3-5 overall.

The story of the first half for South Adams was the leg of Jackson Garcia. He hit field goals from 33 and 30 yards and also missed one just wide left right before the end of the half to keep the home team in the game.

Tytus Lehman connected with Will Patterson to stay within one point of Woodlan at half with a 16-yard touchdown throw.

In the second half, Lehman tossed two more TD throws to Jax Wanner, giving the Stars leads at 21-14 and 28-21 in the second half.
Woodlan, however, did not relent. Drew Fleek scored on a 27-yard run and converted the two-point try to put the visitors up 29-28 late in the fourth quarter and the Warriors put the game away with a Ty Louden touchdown.
Fleek led the Warriors in rushing with 128 yards on 23 carries.
Woodlan quarterbacks attempted just five passes, completing three of them for 95 yards.
