Adams Central ran up 405 yards of offense and clinched the ACAC title Friday with a 49-24 victory over the Bluffton Tigers in Week 8.
The Jets jumped out to a two-touchdown lead when they blocked a punt and scooped it up for a score in the first quarter.


Jamison Roach ended the game as the team’s leading rusher with 104 yards and two touchdowns. He also threw for two touchdowns.


Matt Heiser finished with 102 yards rushing and Aaron Hirschy nearly made it three 100-yard games for the home team with a 93-yard display.
Axton Beste finished 21 of 29 with an impressive display of offense, throwing for 276 yards and three touchdowns for Bluffton.


The Tigers and Jets could meet again in two weeks time in the local 2A sectional.
