The annual rivalry match between Adams Central and South Adams had an exciting finish Tuesday night in Berne and it was the doubles team of Gabe and Ian Neuenschwander that provided the winning point.
The Starfires breezed through the top two singles matches with their two unbeaten stars, Cole Hyman and Kade Sprunger, but Adams Central had no problems winning at No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles.
#TeamNeuenschwander won the first set at love, but dropped the second to Brody Isch and Mason Fruechte by the score of 6-3, sending their match and the team match to a third set.
Gabe and Ian secured the victory with a 6-2 victory, pushing their record together at 7-3.
