The prospects for the 2024 version of the Heritage Patriots team have looked rosier and rosier after two home wins in two nights over solid opponents. The team knocked off Bellmont convincingly Wednesday, then downed rival New Haven 3-2 Thursday for a solid start to the season.
Senio Sai Po La scored two goals and created the chances for the team against the Bulldogs, while Twa Rit converted a penalty. La’s brace came off six shots on target, with one of the scores coming from an assist by Rit.

The Patriots outshot their opponents 13-3. Liam Warren had one save for Heritage in goal.



The team will face another tough test on Monday when they host Blackhawk Christian. The Braves were beaten by Norwell Thursday, 3-1.
