Decatur Main Street’s Downtown Decatur Day is scheduled this year on Saturday, June 15, and as part of the festivities, a second annual Golf Cart Parade will be held.
“It was so much fun last year, we are bringing it back,” a city announcement said.
Entry fee is $20 per cart and pre-registration is set for Wednesday, May 29, at Riverside Center.

Registration and staging will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Riverside the day of the event, with the first carts leaving at 11 a.m. The parade will conclude downtown.
“There will be awards given to favorite golf carts, voted on by people at Downtown Decatur Day, so feel free to decorate those carts,” the city announcement said.
All proceeds will support the Mayor’s Youth Council.
Downtown Decatur Day is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day, with all manner of activities and vendors.
