Involvement in community is one thing Shawn enjoys most about living in Adams County. Now that his
children are grown, Hamrick would like to continue to serve his community and county he lives in on the
county council.
“I look forward to working alongside other like-minded individuals on county council and throughout the
offices of Adams County. I have gotten to know some of these individuals over the years and serving the
residents of Adams County brings them great joy, I would like to do the same. I can’t think of a much better place in the Midwest to raise a family than Adams County, we have great places for our families to
play, great schools for our children to attend, and great opportunities for employment. There are great
opportunities for everyone to flourish in Adams County and we need to continue to have a strong county
infrastructure that supports our residents as well. I will work hard for all of Adams County to do just that
and keep all residents in the forefront of my mind as I serve. I want transparency to be a focus for all who
serve. We need to have a balanced approach to the services we offer our taxpayers and how we spend their money. We are all here to serve and we need to do just that! I want to help lead that charge and
would appreciate your vote in the primary election” stated Hamrick.
