Delbert Lee Brumbaugh, 88, of Geneva, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Markle Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Markle, IN. He was born on April 10, 1938, to Elmer A. and Harriet (Garber) Brumbaugh in Darke County, Ohio. Delbert was married to Ruth Nancy (Royer) on May 29, 1962, and is survived by his wife of 64 years.
Delbert was a former member of the Old Brethren German Baptist Church and he was a lifelong farmer.

Delbert is survived by 2 sons and 9 daughters; Timothy Brumbaugh of Fort Wayne, IN, Rachel (Rick) Lichtenberger of Berne, IN, Mark (Rachel) Brumbaugh of Bellefontaine, OH, Morrava (Gary) Knepp of Montgomery, IN, Damaris (Nkrumah) Addo of Cincinnati, OH, Hannah Webb of Berne, IN, Miriam (Michael) Webb of Waterloo, IN, Abigail (Glenn) Coblentz of Geneva, IN, Martha Brumbaugh of Bellefontaine, OH, Lilly Brumbaugh of Fort Wayne, IN, Mary (Mark) Jones of Cable, OH; 24 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers and 1 sister; Jesse (Laura) Brumbaugh of Montana, Lee (Beverly) Brumbaugh of Ohio, Eileen (Mike) Grubb of North Carolina, Steven (Vivian) Brumbaugh of Ohio; a sister-in-law, Eileen Brumbaugh of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer & Martha Brumbaugh; his daughter, Sarah Morrava Brumbaugh; his son, Samuel Brumbaugh; a brother, James Brumbaugh; a sister, Vera Powell.
A Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at West Missionary Church, in Berne, IN, with visitation before the service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, in Geneva, IN.
