Miguel Castaneda Villagrana, 73, of Decatur, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at his residence. He was born on October 11, 1952, in Mezquitic, Jalisco, Mexico, the son of the late Pedro and Maria (Castanedo) Villagrana.
For 25 years he worked for MC Steel in Wheeling, IL and when he moved to Decatur he drove for the Amish. He is survived by his 6 brothers and 7 sisters.
The Rite of Committal will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026, in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, with Father Jacob Runyon presiding.
Arrangements were entrusted to Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
