Barbara Louise Norby, 78, of Bluffton, Indiana, passed away Sunday morning, June 14, 2026, at her residence.
She was born on March 13, 1948, in Rapid City, South Dakota, to the late Chester L. Walters and the late Ethel (Yates) Walters. Barb married Andrew C. Norby on March 17, 1968, in Winterhaven, California, and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2017.

Barb was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Decatur, Indiana.
She was a QMA at Adams Woodcrest for over 20 years.
Barb found great joy in her favorite hobbies, which included knitting, bowling, reading, and creating diamond art. An avid sports fan, she also loved cheering on the Chicago Cubs.
She is survived by her son, Andrew (Melissa) Norby Jr. of Decatur, Indiana; son, James (Tammy) Norby of Bluffton, Indiana; son, Richard Norby of Bluffton, Indiana; son, Larry Norby of Bluffton, Indiana; brother, Robert Walters of Tucson, Arizona; three grandchildren, Allyson (Kacey) O’Connor, Alexyss (Adam) Doyle, and Ryne Norby; and one great-granddaughter, Annabelle Doyle.
In accordance with Barb’s wishes, no services will be held.
