The Decatur Farmers Market will open for the 2026 season this Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the southeast corner of First and Monroe streets in downtown Decatur.
The market will be open at those hours every Thursday through October 8, featuring fresh flavors and local creativity.
“Come shop a great selection of fresh produce, homemade baked goods, handcrafted items, and unique finds from local vendors,” an announcement said.

For three months beginning June 4, music concerts will be beginning on the Madison St. Plaza as the farmers market is winding down for the day.
With Mothers’ Day scheduled Sunday, the announcement said, “the market is a great place to find a thoughtful gift. From fresh flowers and homemade treats to handmade crafts and artisan goods, you’ll find something special to celebrate the moms in your life.”
Anyone interested in becoming a vendor should contact the Decatur Chamber of Commerce, (260) 724-2604, or via email, lmorris@decaturchamber.org for more information.
