The Decatur half of the Decatur-Adams County Parks and Recreation Department is at full complement once again, with its newest member having been seated Monday night.
Mollie Hackman was appointed by Mayor Dan Rickord to fill the remaining term of the late Dick Stimpson, a longtime board member who passed away January 5.

She and her husband, Kevin, former clerk-treasurer for the City of Decatur, are the parents of four girls.
“I care very much about Decatur and hope to help in any way I can to continue to grow it in ways that best serve our community,” she told WZBD.com.
Other members of the Decatur board are Larry Isch, president for over 50 years, Alex Ainsworth, Kelly Ehinger, Kim McCord, and Joan Siefring.
The six members of the county parks department are: Randy Lehman, Scott Bonifas, Mark Ripley, Mellisa Fey, Nathan Bowers, and Brad Kohlhagen.
Both boards currently meet the second Monday of each month at Riverside Center, the county board at 6 p.m. and the city board at 7 p.m.
