Vickie E. Yocum, 81 of Markle and a former Bluffton resident, passed away on Tuesday afternoon, March 31, 2026, at Markle Health & Rehab Center.
She was born on September 23, 1944, in Decatur, Indiana to Elmer Gene & Francis D. (Ross) Nooner.
Vickie worked for many years at Thunderbird Boat, now Formula Boats, in Decatur. She was a very determined person, who enjoyed watching old western movies and playing solitaire.
She is survived by two daughters, Diane E. Garcia of Bluffton and Jessica R. (Scott) Altic of Decatur and two grandchildren, Ethan R. Yocum and Eveie Yocum, both of Decatur.
Growing up, Vickie was the youngest of six girls. She is preceded in death by her five sisters.
As Vickie requested, there will be no formal service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Lemler family of Thoma/Rich, Lemler Funeral Home in Bluffton.
