South Adams turned up the defensive pressure and overcame a Thursday loss to beat Parkway Saturday afternoon, 46-29.
“It was a great win for us,” noted coach Kyle Roe after the game. “It’s the best defense I’ve seen us play all year.”

The Stars held the Panthers to just five points in the second quarter and six in the third as they pulled away for the win.

Tytus Lehman led the Starfires with 12 points.
Coach Roe’s team has now won four of the last five games and should have a decent shot at getting to .500 or better by tournament time.

Parkway Scoring: Pond 9, B Korte 6, C Korte 4, Triplett 4, Skolly 3, Schumm 3
