The Heritage Patriots did their part to stay in the ACAC regular season title race with a victory over rival Woodlan Friday night, beating the Warriors, 52-40.
Coach Kyle Sovine’s team went to 3-0 in the conference, while the other two unbeatens, Jay County and Bluffton, also registered wins, with each going to 4-0.

Kingston Galentine led all scorers with 17 points. The sophomore has helped lead the Patriots to a 13-3 regular season.

Lantae Cassel (13 points) and Taurean Brown (12) continued to complement Galentine well, both knocking down threes in the first half to get Heritage off on the right foot.
The Patriots will face another ACAC test next Friday when they host Adams Central.
