A report of Wells County says that Southern Wells Athletic Director Todd Thieme will be holding a meeting next week with current head coaches at the school and members of the public to discuss conference membership.
A report by Ryan Walker, who covers Wells County athletics for the Bluffton News-Banner, says that the school is in the process of leaving the ACAC.
A meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on January 15th at the school to discuss “the future of Southern Wells Athletics and conference membership.”
Walker further reported Monday that Southern Wells would be interested in joining the Mid-Eastern Conference, which includes several schools much closer in size to Southern Wells, including Randolph Southern, Wes-Del, Cowan and Monroe Central.
