A losing streak that had stretched to a month long came to an end Saturday afternoon as the Heritage Patriots beat North Side with a great defensive effort, 34-19.
The last victory for coach Jason Miller’s team had come all the way back on December 4th against South Side.
The Legends are now 0-11 on the season.

Heritage was led in scoring by Elaine Bickel with 15. The freshman, who was still out with injury when the Patriots beat South Side, had her best game since joining the varsity team from an offseason injury. She was 3 of 6 from the free throw line and knocked down six shots for her game-leading total.
The Patriots led 20-8 at half and 30-17 after three quarters.
Sophomore Riley Roy had nine points, while freshman Kierstyn Hess added seven.
Adams Central will be the next opponent for Heritage, with the two teams meeting at the Hangar this Friday and again in the ACAC tournament at Heritage on Tuesday, January 13th.
