The spotlight was on Damon Light Thursday night and he delivered with another great performance from the diving board, breaking his own school record by a considerable amount as the Jetskis cruised to victory over Bishop Luers.
Light, who owned the previous school record at 269.75, was nowhere near that mark when he finished at 283.60 after his final dive. Light has been slowly bumping up the AC record, which was in the 250s just last year when he broke it.
The Adams Central girls won their meet 55-45, while the boys won in more convincing fashion at 173-62.
The Jets will face a much tougher task on Monday when they host Jay County in their final meet of 2025.
