Adams Central held Churubusco to just three threes in the first half Wednesday night and jumped out to a 36-9 lead and never looked back in girls basketball, moving to 3-4 on the year with a 63-35 victory in non-conference play.
Ava Stafford was on fire early and finished with 25 points, while Kate Fisher hit three threes and finished with 19 for the Jets.
Tenley Hendricks added eight points and Demi Landis had seven. Both girls knocked down threes in the victory.
Adams Central will host Woodlan in an afternoon game Saturday.
