Reversing a loss from last year’s 12-11 slate, the Heritage Patriots dominated Garrett from start to finish to kick off their season with a 70-44 win Wednesday night.
Garrett beat the Patriots on Monroeville Road last season in the opener (51-45), but the offense was there from the very start for Heritage.
The visitors outscored their hosts in every quarter of the contest. The Patriots have now won 3 of 5 season openers against the Railroaders since the schedule changed in 2021.
