It seems like years ago now, but there was a time when sectional championship night meant that either Adams Central or South Adams would be eliminated and the winner would move on to regional. Nowadays, both teams have chances at winning multiple trophies and the odds of an Adams County team returning to the State Finals continue to rise.
With a win this week and another next week in Regional, the Adams Central Jets would guarantee that they would not face South Adams in the postseason in either 2026 or in 2027, as they’d be on their way up to 3A against the likes of Norwell, Heritage and Bellmont next fall.

We will, of course, have both games for you, with the Jets playing Eastside (on 92.7 FM) and South Adams playing Hagerstown (on our YouTube channel). You’ll hear every postseason game left this season for both teams on our airwaves.
