This is the week that most pickers dread…and it’s gone under a number of names. This year, we bring you “The Crucible.”
For those that don’t know, The Crucible is a very stressful and strenuous final challenge for Marine recruits, enduring a 54-hour final test that challenges the recruits down both mentally and physically through a series of demanding tasks. Completing the Crucible is the final step before recruits get The Eagle, Globe, and Anchor, earning the title of Marine.
Our Crucible…well, it’s not as physical, but definitely a mental stress. This week, we pick EVERY sectional championship game! Yes, all 48 of them! Also, with Veteran’s Day next Tuesday, we pick the games for all the service academy teams.
