South Adams had to make the trek over to Culver for their regional championship game Saturday to face Boone Grove, and would come away with the straight set sweep 25-14, 27-25, 25-17 to advance to next week’s Semi State.
Reagan Beitler led the way with 21 assists, 14 digs, 9 kills, and an ace. Reece Beitler finished with 10 kills and 16 digs. Reagan Bollenbacher had 10 kills, 12 digs, and a pair of blocks. Laney Trausch had 3 aces and 16 assists. Ana Lehman had 3 blocks in the match.
South Adams improves to 26-8, and move on to a tough Semi State field, with the matches to be played at Peru on Saturday. In the first game, #3 Benton Central (25-5) will face #2 Southwood (30-3) at 10am, followed by #9 South Adams taking on Lakeland (19-13). The championship will be at 7pm.
Meanwhile at Norwell, both the host Knights and Bellmont were in action and lost to their respective opponents…
