Homestead narrowly defeated Concordia Lutheran for the New Haven Girls Cross Country Sectional Saturday morning, winning by just two points.
Northrop was the last team to advance, finishing behind Bishop Dwenger and Snider, but ahead of Woodlan and Heritage to advance their entire teams.
For the Heritage Patriots, two girls will advance to next Saturday’s regional. Rosalinda Medina and Emily High both were among the top 15 individuals among non-advancing teams.
