Tytus Lehman ran for 140 yards and a score and also threw for 208 yards and three TDs as the South Adams Starfires were all over the Jay County Patriots in Week 7 action in the ACAC, winning 42-16 to move back above .500 on the season.
With the win, the Starfires sit in third place behind the two undefeateds – Adams Central and Bluffton – with two weeks to play.

Lehman ran 65 yards for a score on the very first offensive play of the game and the Stars never looked back.
A field goal by Jacoby Penrod in the second quarter kept the game from going to a running clock to start the second half, but South Adams quickly got above the 35-point margin with a touchdown by Will Patterson to put the game away.
Patterson was the top option for the Stars on the ground, picking up 80 yards on eight touches.
Jax Wanner caught four balls for 89 yards. Derek McKean also had four catches – two for touchdowns from Lehman.

The Starfires will be favored to win in the last two weeks of the regular season (at Woodlan and home to Southern Wells) as they attempt to head into sectional with a three-game winning streak and a 6-3 record against a field that currently only has one other team with a winning record (Madison-Grant).
