In what very well may be the best match of the season for the Z-Team, the Heritage Patriots won a five-set marathon match by the score of 16-14 over South Adams Thursday on our game of the week on 92.7 FM. It was part of a busy night for high school volleyball across Z-Land, with the Bellmont Braves picking up a straight-set win over NE8 rival New Haven, as well.
Reagan Bollenbacher and Reece Beitler each had 12 kills for the Stars in the tough loss, while Reagan Beitler had an incredible 47 assists.
Note: No scores or information were received from Adams Central for their match against Woodlan Thursday evening or from Bellmont for their win over New Haven.
