30 minutes of ball possession for the Heritage Patriots was no answer for a potent and cutthroat South Adams offense in Friday’s Week 4 clash in the ACAC as the home Starfires thrashed the Patriots for four touchdowns on their first four possessions in just 14 minutes to take an early 28-0 lead and turn what should have been an outstanding conference clash into a yawner thanks to nearly 500 yards of Tytus Lehman-led offense.
The Starfires created three turnovers and punted just once in a dominating performance to bounce back from their Week 3 loss to Bluffton.
Tytus Lehman threw for 352 yards on 24 of 38 passing with five touchdowns. He also led the Stars in rushing with 60 yards.

Wes Summersett caught three of the touchdowns and added another on a short run of his own. Summersett’s nine catches totaled 156 yards to lead South Adams.
Derek McKean and Jax Wanner also had touchdowns in the first half.
The Patriots made a change at quarterback, with Brady Boyle taking the snaps instead of Zeb Tigulis. Boyle was 8 of 12 passing for 70 yards and two interceptions. He led the team in rushing with 66 yards.
South Adams’ defense held the dangerous Lucas Weber to just 56 yards rushing and 15 yards receiving.
South Adams will host Blackhawk Christian in Week 5, while Heritage will face ACAC leaders Adams Central.
