All three tennis teams in Z-Land were in action Thursday night and it was just the South Adams Starfires who came away victorious, but there were moral victories for both losing teams based on the opponent and the way the season has gone so far.
Bellmont fell 3-2 to Norwell, but Larry Knous went to a tiebreaker at No. 1 singles in the second set and came close to forcing a deciding set.

The Braves got victories from Kasey Teeter and Caleb Coats at No. 2 doubles, their first win together, and from James Miller, who was victorious earlier in the week.
Meanwhile, against Carroll the Adams Central Flying Jets may have fallen by a 5-0 scoreline in straight sets, but there was plenty of pride from head coach Brent Doster.

“These boys played with passion and fluidity and came away with ten games won tonight,” said Doster. “This is the largest number of games we have taken from Carroll in my time coaching at AC. I am proud of their progress this season and can’t wait to see how we wrap it up over the next few weeks.”
