The Bellmont Braves were defeated by Bishop Luers at home Wednesday night by a score of 4-1.

Continuing with the changes from last week’s lineup, coach Mason Vrablic was not a shutout loser thanks to his No. 2 James Miller, who jumped out to an early lead, then held on for the victory in the pro set tiebreaker.

“He won that first set handily,” said Vrablic after the match. “James reset after losing the tiebreak in the second set (7-3) and responded by winning the super tiebreaker.”

The Braves are on the road Thursday night against sectional rivals Norwell.
