Three Starfires shot their best rounds of the year on the front nine holes at Wabash Valley, leading the South Adams varsity golf team to a victory over Eastbrook at home Wednesday evening.

Combining for a team score of 212, the Stars were led by Kendall Minger’s 50 in the non-conference victory. Good enough for overall medalist honors, it represented Minger’s best effort on the first nine holes all season long for coach Chris Toledo.

Audrey Orr also had an amazing round personally, cutting seven strokes off her previous best of the season to shoot 52.

Margo Bernard contributed to the team score from the No. 5 spot, playing her best front nine of 2025, as well.

The Starfires won the match 212 to 221.
