Two days after picking up their first victory of the season, the Heritage Patriots went on the road for the first time and picked up a draw against the Angola Hornets Thursday, 1-1.
Sophomore Rosie Kyi put the Patriots up 1-0 in the first half with her second goal of the season, but Angola came back to draw even with a score of their own in the second half. Edith Gonzalez was credited with the assist to Kyi’s goal.
Taylynn Mart was tasked with making 12 saves to hold on to the draw for the Patriots in goal.

Heritage will be involved in an ACAC tripleheader next week as they go Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday against conference opponents Woodlan, Southern Wells and South Adams.
