Huntington North was down to just four healthy players when they arrived at Cross Creek Tuesday and they only finished with three players completing all nine holes, handing the Bellmont Braves an automatic victory, although the home team played their seventh consecutive sub-200 round of the season and likely would have won anyways.
The Braves shot 192, led by Ella Hockemeyer’s round of 43, her best on the back nine this year.
Morgan Huss also played her best golf on the back nine this year with a 46.

Head coach Mike Macke noted that with six matches remaining, his team has already exceeded last year’s win total.
The Braves are set to play for the third consecutive day at Bridgewater against Leo and New Haven Wednesday.
