The Generals of Fort Wayne Wayne flexed their muscles against the Bellmont Braves, but the visitors were not shut out Monday, as the No. 1 Dubs team of Kaden Ramsey and Kasey Teeter captured a hard-fought match in straight sets.
Coming off the individual tournament at DeKalb on Saturday, the Braves returned to the regular team format for Monday’s event. Wayne won the match, 4-1.

The weather turned chilly throughout the night and players battled a cross wind, with right-handed players aiming their serves on the deuce side of the court toward the center of the other court to get it to land where they wanted.

Ramsey and Teeter showed good teamwork and motivation to get each other to the level they needed to play in the first set, setting the tone for the rest of the way.

The Braves will return back home Thursday to host Blackhawk Christian.
