At one point or another, the Bellmont Braves were prepared to play on three different courses, but when they boarded the bus for the final time to make their way back to Decatur, they had a nine-stroke victory in hand – and that is all that matters.
Initially told they would be playing at Chestnut Hills, a late change in the schedule came from the Concordia athletic department that the Braves would be facing the Cadets (and Canterbury’s two players) at Foster Park instead.

The Braves’ varsity players disembarked from the white bus to get ready to play Foster Park, only to be told that there was no match scheduled. A quick phone call sent the team over to McMillen, to where they hurried and played pretty good golf considering the circumstances, winning 183-192.
Ella Hockemeyer led all players with a 36.
“Ella played very well, making pars and bogies until she get to her last hole,” noted head coach Mike Macke.
The Braves know where they are playing Tuesday. They host Huntington North
