David A. Gase, 69, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Decatur, IN, on January 23, 1956, the son of Patrick and Donna (Ladd) Gase.
He is survived by his father, Patrick Gase of Decatur, IN; 5 children, Jason Gase of Bluffton, IN, Josh Buck of Ohio, Isaac Gase, Melissa Gase and Brittany Crook all of Decatur, IN; siblings, Kenny Gase of Decatur, IN, Kevin (Patsy) Gase of Arlington, TX, Patty (Randy) Lewis of Decatur, IN, Scott (Shavonne) Gase of Uniondale, IN, Amy Armstrong of Fort Wayne, IN; 7 grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Gase; brothers, Tim Gase & Stewart Gase.
Per David’s wishes, there will be no services.
Memorials may be given to the A.C.C.F. Angel Cancer Fund.
Arrangements are entrusted to Haggard-Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home.
