Anessa Spieth played her top 18-hole round as the Heritage Patriots took 14th place at Whispering Creek against a talented field of bigger schools Saturday in the Bulldog Invite.
Meanwhile, for the Bellmont Braves, junior Lyla Post shot a career-best round of 96 to lead the Braves to a sixth-place finish with a final team tally of 388.
The Patriots finished with a team score of 462.
Spieth shot 62 on the front but finished with a solid 54 for a 116, which is the best round of her career.

The Patriots are back on the links of Whispering Creek Thursday when they take on FW Snider. Bellmont will play at Foster Park on Monday.
