The Bellmont boys finished fifth with a standout performance from newcomer Gavin Braun, while the girls took eighth place with an outstanding day by freshman Madeline Witte.
Notes: Hayden Whittenbarger’s top time for the Braves was within a second of where he was at Celina last year.
-Newcomer Gavin Braun trimmed a minute from his first time last week to finish as the team’s second-best runner.
-Logan Whitacre was also a minute faster than last week and the time of 18:41 was easily her personal best.
