Adams Central hosted county rival South Adams on Tuesday evening in a dual match at Wabash Valley Golf Club. Despite a strong start, the varsity Jets fell just short, dropping the match 192–187.
Mavrick Becher paced the Jets with a steady round of 45, while Drew Johnson followed closely with a 46. Trace Maller added a 49, and Jaret Smith rounded out the team scoring with a 52. Ashton Yergler contributed a 56.

The JV team turned in a dominant performance for the Jets, led by Brody Isch, who fired a smooth 45. Coltan Landrum posted a 48, followed by Myles Kaehr (52) and Zach Frank (53) to lock in the team total. Several other JV golfers gained valuable experience during the match, including Dakota Marbach (54), Trevor Henry (57), Quentin Taylor (56), Trevor Chamberlain (58), and Noah Grubb (57).
The Jets now turn their attention to the final stretch of the regular season as they continue building toward postseason play.
