Ava Smith and DiNestee Williams-White were a couple of the stars that led Heritage to a three-way meet win Tuesday night in Monroe.
Notes & Times:
-DiNestee Williams-White was just a tenth of a second short of her career best, winning the 200 with a season-best effort of 28.30 for Heritage.
-Ava Smith set another PR in the meet in the 800 with a 2:45 for Heritage. Teammate Emily High broke the three-minute mark for the first time and was second.
-Smith is also approaching the six-minute mark with her mile time. She won the 1600 with a time of 6:09 – an all-time best for her.
-McKinsey Amstein won the 300 hurdles with a new personal-best time.
-Haley Jauregui set season bests in both hurdles events for the Jets.
-Ava Johnson cleared 4-08 for the first time and won the high jump.
-Alexa Walter was second in the discus with her new career best for the Patriots.
