The swing match in Monday’s showdown between two of the top teams in the local tennis sectional came down to the No. 2 doubles match on a very windy and difficult night.
Norwell’s Aubryn Keller and Bria Reinhard took the first set (7-5) and found another break of serve to secure the match and the all-important third team point with a 6-4 victory in the second set against Lila Ringger and Jillian Brotherton.
Adams Central got wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles.
The Jets face another tough challenge Tuesday when they play at Carroll in Huntertown.
