Dale A. “Pete” Roberts, 94, of Monroe, IN, died on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Envive of Berne. Pete was born on September 28, 1930 in Silver Lake, IN to the late Harold and Wilma Amy (Trump) Roberts. On November 17, 1956, Pete married Barbara J. Akom. She preceded him in death on May 4, 2008.
He was a former member of Monroe United Methodist Church. Pete retired as a Teamster truck driver. He also worked for Elway Trucking and Vitro and Amishville in maintenance. Pete was a member of the Markle Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by 2 sons, Timothy D. Roberts of Liberty Center, IN and Jeffery D. (Liz) Roberts of Decatur, IN; a daughter, Sidney (Kimala) Mason of Tallassee, AL; a sister, Phyllis Zolman of Mentone, IN; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Pete was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Jodi Roberts; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Per Pete’s wishes, there will be NO SERVICES.
