Adams County native Jada Isch is gaining experience as an intern with State Rep. Matt Lehman (R-Berne) and his fellow members of the Indiana House of Representatives during the 2025 legislative session.
Isch, a graduate from Adams Central High School, is the daughter of Katie and Greg Isch. She is currently a junior at Indiana University Indianapolis, majoring in social work and minoring in psychology.

“This internship at the Statehouse has allowed me to grow my writing skills, expand my legislative knowledge and develop new friendships and connections that will help me in my future endeavors,” Isch said. “I’m thankful for the opportunity to work alongside my peers and legislators to help me grow as an individual both professionally and personally.”
As a communications intern, Isch helps write news releases, prepare handouts for legislators and create email newsletters for constituents.
“Jada is developing fundamental skills and making important connections that will open help open the door for future employment opportunities,” Lehman said. “Communications interns like her are incredibly helpful to members, staff and constituents throughout the legislative session.”
At the start of each year, the House of Representatives offers paid internship opportunities to college students, law-school students, graduate students and recent college graduates for the duration of the annual legislative session.
