Walls are going up for the new garage in Decatur which will house Adams County Transit/Council on Aging vehicles.
The structure measures 30 feet by105 feet and, when completed, will house eight vehicles used by the transit system which just began its second year.

Framing is being done by Arnold’s Lumber and Amos Schwartz. The concrete and foundation work was recently completed by Martin Schwartz Construction.
The building is situated along 12th St., in the northwest corner of MERIT Center property.
DH Electric has the contract for the electrical work, to be followed by HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) installation by Liechty Bros.
