The Starfires used great defense in the first half to build a big lead against Muncie Burris, doubling up the Owls 26-13. Tytus Lehman scored half of his 16 points in that span.
It was just the third victory of the season for South Adams.

New Haven, Columbia City, and Huntington North all stayed at the front of the group in the NE8 with their wins. It sets up a showdown on Saturday when the Eagles comes to New Haven with first place on the line.
