Adams Central dominated the second half of an ACAC tilt Thursday night, rescheduled from earlier in the week because of the cold weather and cancelled school days, and went on to a 51-17 victory to pick up the Jets’ fifth win of the year and their fourth in the last eight games.
Heritage led in the early going, 9-8, but a 13-0 run by the Jets put the game away and the visitors never looked back.

The Patriots were stuck on 12 points for much of the middle of the game until the contest went to a running clock late in the game.

Danica Fuller capped off her senior night with a three toward the end of the game.
The Patriots are now 1-16 this year and will play at Bluffton Saturday.
